HL Rinawma is a dedicated and results-driven professional with expertise in strategic planning, problem-solving, analysis, coordination, and teamwork. He joined the Mission Foundation Movement in August 2023, bringing with him over 20 years of rich experience from his tenure at World Vision India. During his time in World Vision India, he played a significant role in various aspects of community development, including education, livelihood, health, HIV/AIDS, MNCH (Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health), nutrition, and child sponsorship.
He has made notable contributions to key projects such as developing village perspective plans for southern Mizoram and East Kameng District in Arunachal Pradesh, implementing a successful malaria mitigation program in Lawngtlai and Siaha District, Mizoram, and leading a tribal development project for southern Mizoram.
As a passionate child rights activist, HL Rinawma served as a Child Welfare Committee (CWC) member for six years and as Chairperson of the CWC in Lawngtlai District, Mizoram, for an additional six years. He has actively participated in and facilitated numerous seminars and training sessions, both as a participant and as a trainer. HL Rinawma has also served as a resource person, providing training on child rights and protection to healthcare providers, law enforcement officials, teachers, and community leaders.
He graduated from Government Aizawl College in 1993 and later he studied Master of Divinity (MDiv) at the Asian Institute of Theology, Carey Centre, Kolkata.
